Visit of Mr. Maher Al-Amri, Deputy Governor of Basra, to the Chaldean Diocese.

Mr. Maher Al-Amri, Deputy to the esteemed Governor of Basra, visited the Chaldean Diocese in Basra on Thursday morning, 4 December 2025. The condition of the churches in Basra and their congregations was reviewed. He also visited the diocesan museum. The meeting was attended by Fathers Imad and Aram, and from the Iraq office at the Chaldean Community Foundation in the state of Michigan, USA
